HTC Desire flaunts a metallic frame around the screen. The back portion of the cell phone is made of plastic, while a rubberized material is used for its battery cover. Buttons for Home, Menu, Back and Search are provided at the bottom of the screen. The cell phone also offers optical keypad. It comes with special features where the phone automatically lowers the ringing volume as soon as the phone is picked up and also mutes the ringer when the phone is flipped face down and backs up certain data and settings to the microSD card automatically. The phone includes excellent durable battery backup and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor of 1 GHz.
